Director Omung Kumar, who debuted with 'Mary Kom', is happy with the audiences` response to his work, as he is voted on 4th position amongst Bollywood's best director in 2014. According to the online poll, he is the only debutant director in the midst of heavy weights like RajKumar Hirani, Vishal Bhardwaj, Rohit Shetty, Imtiaz Ali, Farah Khan, Mohit Suri, David Dhawan, Sajid Nadiadwala, and Homi Adjania.

The Debutant Director says, "I am very thrilled that audience has placed me in the list of the top filmmakers of the industry. The most difficult part of a biographical film is to justify it to your audience so I am all the more glad that people accepted it."

The film featured Priyanka Chopra portraying the role of five-times female World Boxing Champion and Olympic bronze medalist 'Mary Kom'.
