Now that the theatrical promo of Tevar is out and is being much appreciated for the energy that Arjun Kapoor is getting into the proceedings, the actor is glad that he was a part of the creative team that put it all together, so as to cater to the multiplex as well as single screen junta.
Informs our source, "Arjun has always been strongly inclined to make bigger contributions to his films in addition to just being an actor. Though he has worked with Yash Raj Films and Dharma Productions in the past, a film like Tevar with his own family (Sanjay Kapoor, Boney Kapoor) meant that he could be a lot more involved in the making than his earlier efforts."
When contacted, Arjun said in a modest tone, "Well, I am involved as much as my director (Amit Ravindernath Sharma) would want me to. Yes, I did share my point of view, opinion and perspective. After all, it is a film made by my home production (Sanjay Kapoor Entertainment that is bringing the film together with Eros International). I want to be a part of this process as I like filmmaking as a whole."
Arjun doesn't have any misgivings though about going out of the way to make his voice being heard for the film which has Sonakshi Sinha as the leading lady with Manoj Bajpai as the villain of the piece.
Says Arjun, "At the end of the work would have happened even without me involved. Still, the fact remains that Tevar has a different kind of emotional connectivity for me due to my family's involvement. It goes a lot deeper than my other films."
Meanwhile our source from Eros adds, "Arjun is involved in the marketing and is working very closely with our team. We have been jointly planning this campaign and it has been very exciting all this while. We have our regular meetings together and it is wonderful to have such close involvement from him. It is mutually a very engaging experience."
Now that's something we won't argue about.
