Pulkit Samrat skips honeymoon for 'Junooniyat'

Pulkit Samrat who has won many hearts on television and in films will now be next seen in 'Junooniyat' opposite Yami Gautam. The film is directed by Vivek Agnihotri and shorts needs to go on the floor, however right before the film Samrat has plans to marry his long-time girlfriend, Shweta Rohira. His wedding was slated for the 3rd of November in Goa.

But all plans post wedding have had to be canned. The actor needs to start preparing for his role in 'Junooniyat' almost immediately post his wedding, Samrat will have to travel to Mau in the Bhind district of Madhya Pradesh, soon after the wedding. Bhind not being one of the hot spots for honeymooners, that would have to wait.

Pulkit portrays the role of an army officer in the film. Filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri wants him to spend five days in Mau before they start shooting on November 15th to learn the body language and mannerisms of an army officer.

On this the director said," We are often blamed for the inappropriate portrayal of army officers in our films. So, I felt Pulkit should go there to understand the army officers` way of life." He further adds, "After his stay in Mau, he will head to Delhi for his reception. We will start shooting the film soon after."

'Junooniyat', starring Pulkit Samrat and Yami Gautam, directed by Vivek Agnihotri, produced under the banner of T-series, is a thriller and will go on floors on November 15, 2014.
