Several theories have been doing the rounds explaining the delay in the release of "Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo".

The latest is that the rescheduling of the release to December had nothing to do with distribution problems, but with the defence ministry itself, reports Bollywood Trade.

It is mandatory for films about army personnel to have a clearance from the Army Chief himself. But sources said an army panel had objected to Amitabh Bachchan's portrayal in the film.

"We need some time to be convince the panel about our point of view, which is the reason for the postponement," a source from director Anil Sharma's office revealed.
