Ranbir Kapoor`s birthday celebrations came to a stop as he underwent a small surgery to treat his adenoid tonsil. Ranbir had 5 days off and the surgery was planned just after his birthday celebrations.

According to sources, the adenoid was causing some trouble to Ranbir which didn`t allow him to breathe properly during his sleep.

Meanwhile, on his birthday, girlfriend Katrina had thrown a surprise bash inviting his school friends.
