Alia Bhatt & Shahid Kapoor start 'Shaandaar' journey

Queen` famed helmer Vikas Bahl`s next titled Shaandar` has gone on floors today. Bannered under Karan Johar`s Dharma Productions and Phantom Films, Shaandar` will be India's first destination wedding film and marks the fresh pairing of Shahid and Alia Bhatt.

Excited for her new project, the bubbly Highway` famed beauty wrote thus on her Twitter page: "Today is day 1 of #Shaandaar!!! Wish me luckkkkkk :D start of a new beautiful journey!!! Wohooooo @shahidkapoor @FuhSePhantom @karanjohar."

For this film, Shahid has been undergoing various look tests because his character in the film requires his hairstyle to suit western as well as Indian looks. Meanwhile he has his latest film Haider` waiting to release shortly.
