Vishal Bharadwaj`s forthcoming serious drama Haider` has already impressed all with its trailer. While the film boasts of a fine ensemble of cast including Shahid Kapoor, Shraddha Kapoor, Tabu and Kay Kay Menon, it should be taken into account that Irrfan Khan will also be seen in the movie but for guest appearance. Following which the talented actor is kept out from the promotions of Haider` right from the beginning.

In fact Irrfan who had requested Vishal Bharadwaj that his presence like face and name must not be used in Haider` publicity. On the other hand, the filmmaker, who respects Irrfan`s sentiments, has been perfectly okay with the arrangement. Hence Irrfan will not be seen in any publicity of Haider`.

On this Irrfan agreed saying, "I have a guest appearance in Haider. I did it because I love Vishal's work. And I wanted to be part of another Shakespearean adaptation by Vishal after Maqbool."

Earlier, Irrfan had an unpleasant experience with the makers of the thriller Xpose`. Said a close source to The Lunchbox` famed actor, "He did a guest appearance in Xpose. The makers had promised to keep his name and face out of the publicity. Irrfan was shocked to see he was featured prominently in the publicity."

Haider`, produced under the banner of UTV motion picture, is slated for 2nd october 2014.
