After charming her way into the hearts of audience with her debut movie Yaariyaan` cute and pretty Rakul Preet Singh has bagged her second movie under a prestigious banner and also a wonderful chance to share the screen space with one of the acting experts in the industry.

Buzz is that the young actress has been finalized for Ramesh Sippy`s next, titled Shimla Mirchi` opposite Rajkumar Rao. Only recently news had been out that Hema Malini has been roped in to play a major role in the film. Now latest reports state that Rakul will play the veteran actor's daughter in the film.

The fact was also mentioned that Hemaji is working with Ramesh Sippy after Sholay` which released 39 years ago.

Shimla Mirchi` will start shooting in August 2014 in Shimla.
