His movie ‘Filmistaan’ is an ode to Bollywood and hits theaters 6th June - but before that Sharib’s determined to share ‘screen’ space and rub shoulders with every celebrity in the country!

‘Filmistaan’ is a heart-warming tale of how films are the fabric that binds two nations. Sunny Arora (Sharib Hashmi), a wannabe actor and assistant director gets kidnapped by Pakistani militants and taken hostage across the border. There he’s forcibly kept in the house of Aftab (Inaamulhaq) - a simple Pakistani villager who makes a living pirating Indian films - and the two soon bond over their love for Bollywood forging an unique friendship.
