Prior leaving for her work trip the ‘Exotic’ diva had emotional event. Priyanka Chopra recently hosted a shradh pooja in memory of her father the late Ashok Chopra , just before she departed for the shoot of Zoya Akhtar's ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’ in Barcelona. Priyanka is known to be very close to her father, who passed away 11 months ago. Her love for him is also evident through her tattoo on her wrist, which has line "Daddy’s lil girl".

According to sources, the actress personally invited family and her father's closest friends for the pooja followed by a bhog. The pooja that was a quiet affair and started at 11 am in the morning at the ISKCON mandir. It was also attended by members of the NGO that Mr.Chopra worked for.

Next, Priyanka will board a cruise for ‘Dil Dhadakne Do’, accompanied by mother Madhu Chopra, however, will return for 2 days to spend time with her family on her father's first death anniversary.

Currently, Priyanka Chopra is busy shuttling between the US and India, juggling her dual careers as an international pop star and Bollywood leading lady.
