Last week on (02 Feb, Saturday) Akshay Kumar’s wife, Twinkle Khanna was admitted to Breach Candy hospital following complain of severe stomach pain.

Reports have it that the former actress had stone in her kidney, for which she had to undergo a surgery immediately, the next day (Sunday). Both Akshay and Twinkle’s mother Dimple Kapadia were by her side throughout in hospital. Adding a humour touch to her discomfort, Twinkle had jovially tweeted from her bed, "I had no idea I had kidney stones. And now I find they are bigger than any diamonds I own."

According to sources, Akshay Kumar who had an event to attend on Sunday, wrapped up work and rushed back to hospital. Post-surgery Twinkle is said to be doing fine and as of now, she is recovering.
