For ‘Commando’ famed actress Pooja Chopra, 2013 didn’t seem to have ended on a good note... Pooja reportedly met with an untoward accident at home few days ago, in which her leg was seriously damaged and since then is recovering in hospital bed.

According to sources, couple of days back, the actress was having tea by the window at her home, when suddenly the glass window-pane collapsed on to the floor and one of the pieces pierced her left leg and it started bleeding profusely. Due to her domestic maid’s timely help, Pooja was rushed to hospital immediately and had to undergo a surgery.

The operation lasted for nearly three and half hours and hospital sources revealed that Pooja had lost some blood and nearly 50 stitches were put since the injury was very grave. The sources also added that it will take minimum four months before the actress gets back on her feet comfortably and to do stunts.
