Jiah Khan was murdered?. Is her mother Rabia Khan allegations true?. Is Suraj Pancholi guilty of murder?. Did Mumbai police ignored vital facts?. Well the latest revelation by the forensic report does finds some truth in the above allegations.
The forensic report has found fragments of human flesh under JiahÂs fingernails and her underwear had bloods stains, according to experts itÂs a clear sign of struggle. Jiah's mother Rabia Khan has maintained that her daughter did not commit suicide and Mumbai police had ignored vital facts. The findings of a forensic report has put the Mumbai Police under scanner and has found some evidence that actress Jiah Khan's death could be a case of murder. Jiah was found dead in her Juhu apartment on June 3 this year.
According to the police, she hung herself from the ceiling fan in her room. JiahÂs mother Rabia Khan has now demanded that her body be exhumed and re-examined. In a letter written to Additional Commissioner of Police (west) Vishwas Nangre Patil, she has accused the police of turning a blind eye to the FSL report and "stage managing" the case. The Juhu police had arrested Jiah's boyfriend Suraj for abetment a week after her death. He was released on July 2 after the Bombay High Court granted him bail.
Rabia Khan has also submitted independent opinion of Dr R K Sharma, former head of Department of Forensic Medicine and Toxicology, AIIMS, on all the evidence submitted in the case. Dr Sharma has expressed shock that the most important piece of evidence - the human tissue and blood caught in Jiah's finger-nails - was not only not properly investigated, but also summarily destroyed later by the investigating team. According to Dr Sharma's interim report, the CFSL analysed the human tissue and blood only for ascertaining blood group, when they should put the sample through DNA testing to identify who they belonged to.
Questioning the rationale behind destroying the samples, he says, "Why were samples destroyed when they yielded results for human tissue? It is a gross lapse on behalf of the laboratory." Referring FSL report's finding that 300 ml alcohol was found in Jiah's stomach, Dr Sharma's report says that "if that amount of alcohol was found in her body, then she was clearly incapacitated and it is possible for an able-bodied person to hang an incapacitated person."
Rabia's lawyer Dinesh Tiwari said he feels exhuming Jiah's body is crucial to getting to the bottom of the case. "If the police do not decide to exhume the body soon, we will file an application in the court for the same."
