Our much awaited ‘Dhoom: 3’ joins the likes of ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Batman’. The trailer of the film will be shown in the biggest format ever i.e. IMAX which is usually the trend in Hollywood films.

Since for the first time, a Hindi film will be releasing in this arrangement, in order to give the audiences a glance of what to anticipate from the film, the trailer of the Dhoom franchise, has also been converted to IMAX.

Only couple of days left, the theatrical trailer is scheduled to release in IMAX on 30th October. We heard that to do the conversion, the makers had to take extra efforts of some time and of course there was a heavy cost involved. Apparently the trailer cost them around 2 crores more, revealed our sources.

Said a YRF’s Spokesperson, "Dhoom 3 is the first Hindi film to release in IMAX. Therefore to give a glimpse of what to expect, we are releasing the theatrical in IMAX. Obviously there is a cost involved."

And we are sure it is worth all the efforts... The countdown begins...
