If sources are to be believed, then young and talented director Maneesh Sharma will be lucky enough to have the Badshah of B-Town in his next project.

After making an impressive outing with ‘Shuddh Desi Romance’, the ‘Band Baaja Baraat’ helmer was planning to make a film with Shah Rukh Khan in lead. In fact, it is said that he had come to Mumbai with a dream to direct the King Khan. Also the two had worked in ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ in which Sharma as an assistant director.

According to sources, Sharma has already narrated the script to SRK, who took time to discuss it in detail with the filmmaker. And if things work well, then the star will also be producing the project.

As of now, SRK said to have completed the Dubai schedule of Farah Khan’s ‘Happy New Year’. Besides, he has a Farhan Akhtar’s production, to be directed by Rahul Dholakia.
