Actress-turned-politician Hema Malini has said she will direct her actress daughter Esha Doel in a film.

"I want to direct my daughter in a film," Hema said here Wednesday, speaking at the launch of jewellery store Tanishq's 'Celebration of Purity' offer.

She is already considering three scripts involving Esha.

"The first revolves around a mother-daughter duo. The second will be a small budget project and will be directed by me," said Hema, clad in a glittering chiffon sari.

The second film will, in all probability, also star the gorgeous Rekha, she said.

Hema, who is an accomplished dancer, expressed pride in her daughter's work though Esha's films have not seen much box office success.

"I have always maintained that Esha was too young when she joined films. But slowly she is gaining the maturity needed for Bollywood," she said. "And I have a few interesting ideas for her."

She is also doing Ravi Chopra's next film "Babul". This will be her second film with him after the successful "Baghbaan".

But, she said: "I do not have any idea about the role as we have not begun working on the film."

The charming actress is also doing television. In the pipeline is Sahara Manoranjan's soap "Kamini Damini" where she will once again be seen in a double role, after her super hit "Sita Aur Gita".

Hema, however, does not want to do too many film projects, as her passion for dance and responsibilities as an MP take up a lot of time.
