Rajnikant’s office has told the media that the Superstar who is away in Bangalore would be back in Chennai in two days. After his arrival Rajni would clear the controversy regarding the statement given in court by Singh about the actor’s role in the stamp paper scam. Singh in a court statement said that Rs 20 crores was handed over to Rajnikant to be given to Veerapan for the release of Dr Rajkumar. The money was the proceeds of the sale of fake stamp paper. This issue has rocked the political circles. Earlier a former DGP in his memoirs wrote about ransom money being paid for release of Dr Rajkumar. The new `villain’ role for Rajnikant has baffled many and the media is waiting for the Superstar to clear the air
