Think Kollywood comedy, it had to be Goundamani-Senthil. While Goundamani has gotten committed to a film, 'Vaaimai' by Senthil Kumar, starring Shanthanu Bhagyaraj, apart from his role in Nesan's 'Jilla', the ace comedian Senthil is not seen to be active on the screens of late. However, his son has now entered the glam and glitz, not on screen, but off screen.

Senthil's son had been interested in a career in films, as a director, and en route to realizing his dreams, he is now assisting director Siva, with his latest project 'Veeram', starring Thala Ajith. It is worth mentioning that Ajith and Senthil shared screen space earlier in movies like 'Aval Varuvala' and 'Nesam'. Now, the veteran comedian's son takes pride in having to assist the famed director Siva in Ajith's 54th film, which is slated for Pongal 2014 release. The film has Ajith and Tamannah in the lead, and is canned by Vetri, edited by kasi Viswanathan and has music by Devi Sri Prasad. The movie is released by Vijaya Studios.
