It's Deepika for SRK in 'Happy New Year'!

Finally it’s confirmed...! She is the one for our King Khan!! Already the two have become a great sensation with Rohit Shetty’s soon-to-be-releasing entertainment vehicle ‘Chennai Express’ and they will yet again come back together to continue their entertaining chemistry for Farah Khan’s reel journey..

Yes, we are speaking about Deepika Padukone and Shah Rukh Khan who have been paired up for the much talked Farah Khan’s project ‘Happy New Year’.

After days of speculations over the film’s leading lady, where names of several A-list heroines have been on rounds, Deepika has been confirmed to have bagged the crown. While the actress and the film’s makers are mum about it, it is heard that Deepika has been finalized for the film. Besides, her dates were being worked out meanwhile, because of which the team were not willing to make it official.

‘Happy New Year’ is expected to go on floors next year in September.

It can be noted that it was Farah Khan and SRK (through his banner Red Chillies Entertainment) who launched Deepika to star status with their ‘Om Shanti Om’.. Now we have to wait to see if the trio will be able to recreate the success story with ‘Happy New Year’...
