One of the busiest stars, Shahid Kapoor had been juggling in and out of his work commitments; rarely having free time. But for the workaholic actor nothing is more important than his near and dear ones. Latest we heard that he made time to be present on his close friend’s big day i.e. engagement in Hyderabad.

Our sources revealed that Sriram and Shahid have been friends since 18 years. The duo used to study together in Mumbai. Even after so many years, the two have been in touch. Shahid was elated to hear about Sriram's engagement. He immediately spoke to his directors and co-stars to work on his schedule.

The engagement was in Hyderabad and Shahid could make it only for a day, but he ensured he was around his friend and his family sharing their happy times.

Not many know, that Shahid continues to share a great rapport with many of his school friends. Said a source, "More than his industry friends, Shahid is comfortable with his buddies from outside the film fraternity. He enjoys being with them as he has a comfort zone with them and can discuss anything under the sun.without having to think twice."

Currently Shahid is having ‘Phata Poster Nikala Hero’ and ‘Rambo Rajkumar’.
