A film has been made on Tamil and Kannada languages on smuggler Veerappan's life in the direction of A.M.R.Ramesh. The film has been released as 'Vaanayuddham' in Tamil and 'Attahasa' in Kannada, and it has been critically acclaimed.

This film which has completed 50 days successfully is being dubbed into Telugu as 'Veerappan' by A.M.R.Ramesh

Kishore has acted as Veerappan in this movie. Arjun and Lakshmi Rao and Ravi Kale have done key roles. The film has completed the dubbing work and is ready to release at the end of this month.

The film will show the exact life story of Veerappan. The director says, " We have met the family members of Veerappan and collected the exact information. We have shown how the police have made Veerappan to come out of the forest and how had they encountered him. Telugu people will love the movie".

Suresh Oberoi, Suchendra Prasad, Jayabalan, M.R.Ramesh, Sulakshana, Vijaya Lakshmi, Bhavanarao etc play the other roles. Sandeep Chowta is the music director.
