While filmmakers these days insist on having hot chemistry and lip-lock scenes to boost up the publicity factor for their film, the makers of ‘Fukrey’ considered it otherwise.

Wanting to be true to the fukrapan (read the genre of the film), producers Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani decided to chop out an elaborate kissing scene between Pulkit and Priya Anand, that turned out to be extremely hot and steamy. In fact, our sources revealed that, the smooching scene had shaped up so well that there was a massive debate creatively whether they should keep it in final edit or remove it.

However Farhan and Ritesh saw the film they felt that the fukraness of the film shouldn’t get diluted at all and attention shouldn’t shift. So after watching the final edit they decided to get it removed.

When asked a spokesperson of the film confirmed, "Creatively everyone felt that the kiss wasn't required in the flow of the script. In fact the story of four boys has really shaped up very well.

Starring Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadda and Priya Anand, ‘Fukrey’ as a film salutes the spirit of Fukraness in people. Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, it’s a story of four guys who are struggling to get into college and have girlfriends.
