For debutants Manjot Singh and Varun Sharma of ‘Fukrey’, it was quite natural for them to play their reel characters... As they got on board for the film, they found that their on-screen characters in a way match to their real life...

According to our source, the duo has often admitted that the characters they are playing in the film have a strange similarity to their real life self - such that, both the fukras have never had girlfriends! (Psst; hey girls this sounds good news for you....)

Although they are 22, they have never managed to break the awkward silence with girls. Especially, Manjot is extremely shy in the presence of girls.

‘Fukrey’ is a leaf from their real life in a sense. It depicts how these Fukras are aspiring to go to college, talk to girls, and hang out on popular food joints with friends.

Incidentally Manjot, a Delhite, never went to college and he is currently pursuing his education via correspondence. On the other hand, Varun is from Jalander and after a brief stint in college back home came to Mumbai.
