This Diwali, our most favourite Indian superhero will make a flying entry on to the big screens... Yeah Hrithik Roshans most awaited film Krrish 3 is aiming to hit the marquee this Diwali. And as a festive treat, director Rakesh Roshan has now announced that he will be making four more films around the Hrithik starrer, but this time it will be an animated series.
Two of these four cartoon films will release before Diwali and the remaining two after that. The director is planning his cartoon films to refresh the audiences memory about the Roshans superhero franchisee.
At a recent event, the filmmaker announced that Filmkraft Productions has partnered with Turner International India and Toonz Animation to create animated sequels based on Krrish.
The collaboration will bring out four sequels of the entertainer, much to the delight of the toddlers of the country. Soon after the release of the first film- Koi Mil Gaya in 2000, Krrish had become one of the most popular super-heroes of the country. The coming season will be an exciting one for the Krrish legacy fans as the animated films promise to be a visual delight!
"I am planning to unveil the first look in July when the first two cartoon films will go on air. I also want to spread the message of friendship and love through this series. My grandsons (Hrehaan and Hridhaan) loved the idea and are excited. The last film released six years ago and a lot of kids were not even born then," says the senior Roshan.
The action-sci-fi franchisee will also see a lot of mindboggling stunts but the director wants to make sure children watching the film dont try them at home.
"We will put a proper warning before the film begins," added the director
The series of four movies will be created between 2013 and 2014, the first of which, titled Kid Krrish, will air on Cartoon Network on July 14, 2013!
