Debutante director Chandru is making a fantasy comic movie with Jai and 'Poraali' fame Niveda Thomas in the lead. Chandru has worked with ace comic directors CS Amudhan and Venkat Prabhu, apart clinching the dialogue credits for 'Tamil Padam' he has been an associate director for 'Mankathaa'.

"The film is a fantasy comedy, revolving around four men, played by Jai, VTV Ganesh, Sathyan and Rajkhumar. We have planned to call it 'Saraswathi Sabatham' but it has not yet been finalized; since it is the name of an old film, we are waiting for the clearance" says the young director. Though the film is based in Chennai, the team will fly abroad for a few portions.

Along with himself, Chandru is introducing a couple of other new entrants to the industry. Cinematography of this new film will be done by J Anand, who is an associate of Nirav Shah. Music is composed by yet another debutante, Prem Kumar.
