Dhanush appears in Malayalam cinema in Thomsun's "Kammath & Kammath" for a guest appearance and the latest news is that his father, Kasthuri Raja will be making his directorial debut in Malayalam cinema soon.

This film is to be a story of the relationships between the kids of today and their parents. According to the director, if all goes well, he might remake the film in Tamil too. When asked if his son Dhanush is to be in the film he responded with a "No. The movie will have a bunch of youngsters — four boys and three girls in the lead."

"When I read the script of the movie, I thought I should convey the message in Malayalam. Today, students exploit technology for education and leisure. I am 60 years old, and I am not able to teach my grandson like how I taught my son. This is because of the generation gap, and we have to approach today’s kids in a different way." further added the director.

The film is yet to be titled and he got this idea while shooting for the Tamil film "Asurakalam" with actor and close friend Ajit Raj.
