At the recent book launch of P Chidambaram's "Chidambaram: Oru Paarvai", Superstar Rajinikanth and Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan shared the stage together. They were not the only two stars on stage though, former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M Karunanidhi was also present at the launch. This book has a collection of speeches about P Chidambaram, made by many important figures. The man of the day himself was also at the event.

The question that has been asked by many over the years was asked by P Chidambaram too, said Rajinikanth, whether he would enter politics or not, and his response to that was," When I decide to do, it will be in my own unique way, En Vazhi Thani Vazhi" to which the crowd cheered mightily. Kamal Haasan hinted that a personality like P Chidambaram could reach higher statuses and bigger responsibilities even maybe be a Prime Minister.
