The megahit 'New Delhi' which came out in 1987 was one movie that unleashed a new life for Mammootty who was then struggling with an array of flops. Now after 25 years,when the same star is facing another similar debacle with his films, a sequel to this big hit is on the pipeline. To be directed by Jayanan Vincent, the cinematographer of the original, the movie will once again bringing to life the character of G K, who is last seen to be arrested for the revenge and killings of a number of key personals for the popularity of his newly found Newspaper.This will be Jayanan Vincent's first venture as a director.
The original movie which was the first Mollywood film to gross more than 1 crores from the release centres,was scripted by Dennis Joseph and directed by Joshiy.
