Diwali is a time when our hardworking celebrities get to relax and spend a day or two with their loved ones. Echoing this fact is our handsome Ranveer Singh, for whom the ‘Festival Of Lights’ means an occasion to be with family and friends.

"Diwali for me means taking time off work to spend quality time with family and friends. We do a small pooja at home every year," quoted the ‘Band Baajaa Baaraat’ famed star.

But this talented actor doesn’t seem to have interest towards the festival’s yet another highlight - Gambling. "I don't gamble, so I get quite bored at Diwali parties," revealed Ranveer who went on to add, "I play UNO with the kids of the house instead!"

He is not a fan of crackers as well. "I get perturbed by the pollution caused by fire crackers, so I don't endorse them." Then ask him what he likes about Diwali, he quips, "What I love about the festival is that the general atmosphere is filled with cheer, homes are decorated and people all around are in a celebratory chill out mode, smiling and having a good time. The highlight of the whole shabang being, but of course, the MITHAIS!!!!!!

Happy Diwali, Ranveer and we hope this festival bring you many Film Mithais (read offers)... The actor currently has 'Lootera' and 'Gundey' in his hands.
