Earlier we had told you that ‘Veer’ helmer is coming up with a film ‘Singh Saheb The Great’, that will star Sunny Deol in the lead. Now read on the latest update on the project.

Buzz is that Amrita Rao has been roped in to play an important role as that of a journalist in ‘Singh Saheb The Great’.

However, Amrita wouldn’t be the leading lady, while hunt is on for an actress to play opposite the Punjab da Puttar, Sunny.

In ‘Singh Saheb The Great’, Sunny features as a Sardar, a District Collector, who wants to eradicate poverty and corruption.

Talking about the project, the director said in an interview, "Corruption is an issue which has to be dealt by every Indian.

It is the common man who is the worse affected by it and the film which is a satire on it has scenes of action so characteristic of Sunny's film."

‘Singh Saheb The Great’ will soon go floors in Benaras.
