After 'Ishaqzaade' and 'Ladies v/s Ricky Behl', would she be doing her third film as well with Yash Raj Films? Is the big league indeed reckoning for the spunky girl?
While there are many questions surrounding Parineeti Chopra, the girl is maintaining a stoic silence and is taking a call of 'wait and watch'.
"See, I hadn't grown up thinking that I have to be this big actress in Bollywood.
Hence it isn't a do or die situation for me either. If I get success then well, great. If not, God forbid, then I do have my degree and educational qualifications to fall back upon. I will do that kind of work juska mujhe mann karega.
Yes, I am ambitious to do good work and do it really well. However I am not so competitive and I don't want to be either. I don't wake up in the morning thinking that jitni saari achchi movies ban rahi hain woh sab mujhe milni chahiye", says Parineeti in her spirited self.
Whatever the stance that she maintains, the fact remains that she is on the 'watch out for' list of many top notch filmmakers today, what with both her films establishing her credentials as an actress who has it in her to deliver goods.
For someone who didn't step into the world of glamour to become an actress, this is no mean deal.
"Well, I would rather say that I am a realistic judge of myself", says Parineeti after a pause, "Yes, the start has been fantastic and the appreciation that has come my way is heart warming as well.
Still, I am not saying that I am the best actress in the world. There is a long way to go. Of course kuch toh hai andar jiski wajah se yahan tak toh pahaunchi.
If that wasn't the case, I wouldn't have been accepted in the industry. I am identifying those areas where I can polish my acting talent. Also, I have to work with directors and co-actors who are good so that I can learn from them. It is just a start."
