One should not be surprised to hear unexpected announcements from a director of Rajamouli's stature. Maryada Ramanna and Eega did come as a surprise. Even though he has not committed himself, at least publicly, to do a film with a Tamil star, the grapevine has it that the director, along with producer DVV Danayya, is planning a Telugu-Tamil bi-lingual film with Suriya.

It is said that Danayya is keen on making a film with Rajamouli and Suriya and that Suriya will meet the producer Maatraan audio launch.

Rajamouli has already signed a film with Danayya and the film he does with the producer will go on floors after he has finished working with Prabhas.

Whether Suriya will give a nod to this bilingual will be known in time. An official announcement will be made once the duo sign on the dotted line.
