'Cocktail' is a clean hit and is now moving towards the superhit status.

While it is a reason to rejoice for Deepika Padukone, she doesn't forget to mention her co-star Saif Ali Khan who has been a constant in her on-screen romantic life (with 'Love Aaj Kal' and 'Cocktail') and would also be seen together again in 'Race 2' which releases early next year.

"Saif is absolutely brilliant and I truly believe in the fact that when you are performing for screen, you get a lot of energy from you co-star as well", Deepika compliments Saif here, "He is one of the most spontaneous actors that I have worked with and trust me, I wouldn't have been as convincing on screen if not for him alongside me.

He has always been a huge support and encouragement right from 'Love Aaj Kal'.

It was this support and encouragement that made Deepika go all out towards completely surrendering herself to the role, so much so that at some point during the film's shooting, it was tough for her to diminish boundaries between her real self and Veronica, the character that she played on screen.

"I guess the toughest and my most favourite scene in the film is the one in the second half when I am cooking lamb biryani for him", she recollects.

"Clearly there are mind games being played because I am still trying to cling on to him and hoping that he would come back to him.

Another favourite is the one where Saif prepares me and Diana for the confession he is about to make. Somehow, I as Veronica know what is in store but just doesn't want to hear or admit it.

These were difficult scenes and really seeped me emotionally." Well, here is looking forward to the 'jodi' being seen together again.
