Once a 'bindaas' girl, always a 'bindaas' girl. Sarah-Jane Dias, who took a rather bold decision to have 'Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum' as her second Bollywood release, is happy with the step she took.
So much so that she is inviting her immediate family and friends for the film's screening this week.
That is quite unlike her co-star Neha Sharma, who is shying away from doing the same.
"Yes, I am taking my parents for the film so whatÂs the big deal," questions Sarah-Jane, an ex-VJ.
"WeÂre all mature adults and this is my profession so whatÂs there to hide? There is nothing embarrassing if we collectively end up laughing at the naughty jokes.
Aisa karne se hamaari intellect khatam nahi ho jaayegi!"
However there is always a risk of the moral brigade showing its dirty head time and again.
"I know," she sighs. "I am very young to say this but ours is a country of contradictions.
For some strange reason we are trying to refuse change of any kind.
That is bizarre because people forget that ours is a nation of young people. Also, in any case youth is more about vibes than being defined by age.
Look at my parents. My mom is 60 but has a young mind. She can differentiate between her BB, iPad and messengers.
People are expecting change and the older lot are not necessarily old; they are just a different generation, that's it." Point taken Sarah
