Akshay Kumar, next as 'Indra'

Its raining remakes in B-town... After ‘Rowdy Rathore’, Khiladi Akshay Kumar will be seen in yet another remake.

After ‘Rowdy Rathore’, looks like filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali has been smitten by the remake bug, for, his next production will be a remake of Telugu movie.

Talks are that he has brought the rights of Telugu blockbuster film ‘Indra’, that starred Tollywood superstar Chiranjeevi and Sonali Bendre in lead.

Incidentally the film was later dubbed in Hindi as ‘Indra The Tiger’ and Tamil as ‘Indran’.


While Akki is said to be playing hero, search is on for the leading lady. According to sources, the film is expected to go on floors next year, 2013.

Hmmm, let’s see if this remake will prove to be as successful as ‘Rowdy Rathore’ for SLB.
