Sarath Kumar was not seen active in Kollywood in the recent past, as the ace actor is non-stop acting in Mollywood and Sandalwood movies. And now, he is getting ready to bridge the gap.

The president of South Indian Film Artistes Association and the chief of All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi, who is also a legislator in the Tamil Nadu Assembly, is currently busy with the Tamil remake of Malayalam hit 'Traffic'.

"The basic knot of the story is organ donation. I am acting in it along with Prakash Raj, Cheran and Radhika," says Sarath, adding that he never thought of shunning Kollywood.

The 'Nattamai' and 'Suriyavamsam' actor also informs that he is in talks for a crime thriller, on the lines of Gautham Vasudev Menon directed 'Vettaiyadu Vilayadu', which had Kamal Haasan in the lead.
