It is a known fact that all was not well between Manoj Bajpayee and Anurag Kashyap for almost a year.

A misunderstanding had developed between the two and that too was driven more by emotional decisions than any major war being a cause of trouble.

However,it was one such emotional encounter that resulted in them reuniting for 'Gangs of Wasseypur'.

"We go back a long way and now that we are returning with 'Gangs of Wasseypur',we want to make the most out of.

Yes, we had fallen apart and for that I do have grudge against him that because of his chaotic mind, he took away such fantastic roles from me", says Manoj who credits Anurag for writing some of his best films till date - 'Satya', 'Kaun' and 'Shool'.

The ice was broken when Anurag called Manoj on one fine night at around 10 PM and told him about a script that he had for him.

Though he wanted to narrate it a day or two later, Manoj was so excited to get a call from his ex-buddy that he insisted to have the narration on the same night.

Laughs Manoj, "That was actually quite impulsive as I just took off for Anurag's place.

I just had one demand from him that he had to organize a good red wine for me that night. So over a bottle of red wine, he narrated 'Gangs of Wasseypur'to me."

By the time the film's narration was through, the bottle had also emptied.

"Thankfully I had given my consent to the part before the bottle was emptied.

At least no one would say that I was drunk when I signed the film", laughs Anurag.

Boasting of a massive cast comprising of Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Piyush Mishra, Reema Sen, Richa Chadda, Huma Qureshi, Yashpal Sharma, Raj Kumar Yadav and Tigmanshu Dhulia, 'Gangs Of Wasseypur' releases all over this Friday.
