There are four films in the Tamil box-office today, with fifty per cent reservation to the ones dubbed from the neighboring Tollywood.

Among the four, the one which has kindled the curiosity of everyone is 'Raatinam', a love story set in the backdrop of Tirunelveli. Directed by Thangasamy, top filmmakers of Tamil cinema who had watched the movie were all praises for it. Topping the list is Gautham Vasudev Menon, who expressed that it’s the rural version of 'Vinnaithandi Varuvaya'.

'Kandadhum Kanadhadhum', a film directed by Seelan is hitting the screens today. Starring newcomers Vikas and Swasika in lead roles, it is a romantic entertainer that revolves around two college going students.

The dubbed ones are 'Sri Rama Rajyam' starring Balakrishna and Nayantara and 'Sridhar' starring Siddharth, Shruti Haasan and Hansika Motwani. While the former is based on few episodes from Ramayana, the latter is a love story. It was titled 'Oh My Friend' in Tollywood.
