The 'Vaaranam Aayiram' girl is going great guns. Sameera Reddy, after making her presence felt in Kollywood and Tollywood, has signed a Kannada flick. The buzz is that she has received her highest ever remuneration for this project.

Titled 'Varadhanayaka', the film which has Sudeep in the lead role is being produced by Shankar Gowda. It is said the producer has paid a bomb to Sameera, which is more than what she received for her recent Tamil release 'Vettai'.

It is to be noted that actors and actresses are paid less in Sandalwood when compared to Kollywood and Tollywood. Considering this, Sameera's reported remuneration for 'Varadhanayaka' has become the talk of Kannada industry.

'Varadhanayaka' is touted to be an action entertainer to be made on a high budget. Interestingly, its protagonist Sudeep, who is one of the top actors of Kannada, is playing the baddie in 'Naan Ee', which is set to hit the screens soon.
