First it was Sheila Ki Jawani and now it’s gonna be Mahi Ki Jawani… Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar in his dream project ‘Heroine’, starring Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Rampal, is sticking to the new-age item-is-in-flavour. The much-talked project, like any other movies of today, will have an item number featuring the movie’s female lead Kareena.

According to sources, Kareena who plays Mahi Arora in the film, will be doing a song called “Halkat Jawani”.

Speculations were rife that the film is based on Manisha Koirala, but in a media meet, the director squashed them as mere rumours. Bhandarkar stated that the film is about Mahi Arora who is today’s girl and the story deals with the ups and downs in her life.

Bhandar revealed that the shooting of the film is forty percent complete and the film has been planned for September release.

After showing off her sizzling moves in ‘Ra.One’ as “Chammak Challo” and then in Agent Vinod’s Mujra song, lets see how Kareena spreads her magic in “Halkat Jawani” in ‘Heroine’. However, her item story doesn’t end here…. Bebo will be wearing the special tag again in Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg 2’.
