Before Bhatts begin to unleash their Emraan Hashmi starrers 'Jannat 2' and 'Raaz 3', they are gearing up to bring 'Blood Money' on screen. As is the case with most of the films coming from the production house, this one too promises to strike a balance between reality and fiction. This is the reason why the film's lead protagonist Kunal Khemu warns that this won't be a regular Hindi film where the lead actor turns to 'herogiri'.
"Yes, from the genre perspective it is a romantic thriller; after all, that's the core of it. However we have also tried to make sure that the central protagonist (played by me) is a normal guy from start till the end of the story. Otherwise time and again you see that a character starts off as a simpleton and then becomes a hero in the end. In 'Blood Money' though he doesn't react in a way that a Hindi film hero normally does. This is the reason why it is not a typical underdog film."
In the film Kunal plays a young man who finishes his MBA and earns an overseas job for himself. He is married, steps into a foreign land for the first time ever and is soon troubled by unforeseen challenges. No wonder, the film's tagline reads - 'When dreams turn into nightmare'.
"Yeah, these are the dreams that any normal middle class person would be able to relate to," says Kunal, "Anyone who wants to make his life better would be able to relate to the emotions of this guy."
Well, here is hoping audience too relate to the emotions here once the film releases all over on 30th March.
