No fireworks expected despite four new releases

As many as four films release this weekend and despite the fact that the week to follow doesn't have a single film arriving, none of the newer ones are expected to benefit much. 'Chaalis Chauraasi', 'Ghost', 'Sadda Adda' and 'Tutiya Dil' are the films in question - each of these being a low to medium budget affair. Out of the four, the only film that has seen some promotion of sorts is 'Chaalis Chauraasi'. However this all male starcast led by Naseeruddin Shah hasn't quite boasted of promos that are enticing enough for the audience to make a beeline in front of theatres. It would have to depend on word of mouth.
'Ghost' could have been a good release had there been promotion of some sort at the least. After all, this is a Shiney Ahuja comeback affair and this very fact could have been a major driver for its theatrical arrival. However the fact that it has anyways been delayed by a month and moreover arrives with almost nil publicity, this horror thriller isn't quite making an auspicious arrival despite its release date of Friday-The 13th.
As for 'Sadda Adda' and 'Tutiya Dil', less said the better. With no face value to them, zilch promotion and zero effort from the makers to create any awareness whatsoever, these films are merely acting as filler releases. This translates into the fact that while 'Chaalis Chauraasi' and 'Ghost' may still enjoy 20%-30% occupancy on the opening day, the rest would be lucky to find even such low footfalls.
