The word 'Marina' will kindle the sweet memories of one and all. So will be my forthcoming film 'Marina', which will talk various things about the beach and the people who live and frequent there, says National Award winning director Pandiraj.

"The pains and struggles of boys selling sundal on the shore go unnoticed. They don't get proper education. There are plenty of other such things that take place in the beach, which need attention. These things made me to make Marina," he says.

However, Pandiraj is quick to clear the air that the movie will not be preachy at any point of time. "Of course, it comes with a message, but not at the cost of testing the patience of the audience. Things are told in a lively and interesting way."

Putting 'Marina' close to his heart than 'Pasanga' and 'Vamsam', Pandiraj says, "This is my first production venture as well. I would like to express my gratitude to all who offered their support to me. The film will hit the screens in February."
