'Pyaar Ka Punchnama', has started its awards journey. This small budget film with an entirely new cast had managed to grow tremendously with word of mouth and not just turned out to be the surprise success of the year gone by and has also managed cult status, especially amongst youth ever since then. The film has now won further laurels after being acknowledged as the 'Most successful small budget film' at the ETC Bollywood Business award.

Elated, first time producer Abhishek Pathak said, "I am so excited to receive this award and the feeling is terrific. It's just a beginning and I hope that 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' gets more love and admiration as this film. The film was an all-debutant affair right from me to Luv to all the actors and even technicians. Such awards act as motivational steps."

Director Luv Ranjan was equally enthralled. He said, "It feels great, especially since it comes from ETC because no one understands the business of Bollywood better. Also, nobody deserves this award more than Kumar ji for showing faith in me, Abhishek and so many newcomers and for giving them a chance to showcase their talent."

The film was made under the banner of Kumar Mangat Pathak's Wide Frame Pictures Production and was presented by Viacom18. Says Kumar Mangat, "Such acknowledgment gives young directors and producers an extended valour to invest in such films."

Here is looking forward to much more glory for 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' in the coming awards season.
