No problem to memorial

The shifting of Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial from Bengaluru to Mysore the birthplace of actor is not happening. Where the actor of over 200 films was cremated – adjacent to Abhiman Studio on two acres of land will be soon sprucing up with activities.

The government of Karnataka has allocated Rs.10 crores for the memorial similarly on the lines of Dr Rajakumar memorial at Kanteerava studios.

On Friday afternoon Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana addressing the media disclosed that the family qualms at Abhiman Studio proprietors have come to a conclusion not to trouble the transfer of two acres land. They have promised not to be a hindrance to the Dr Vishnuvardhana Memorial.

With this promise the idea of shifting the memorial to Mysore has been dropped.
