These days one can come across many actors crossing the language boundaries to enter the big, glittering world of Bollywood. Well, not only actors, even scripts find their way into the B-town, in form of remakes… Ok coming to the main gupshup….

Prateik-Amy Jackson starrer ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ will see a new face - Samantha Prabhu. But let we tell you, this pretty thing is already a popular name down south. Touted as Gautham Menon’s lucky mascot, Samantha will be seen in a small role in the film.

As a matter of fact the actress had done the same brief role in the original Tamil version ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’ and played the female lead in Telugu version ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’.

Samantha, who had earlier done cameos in Gautham’s south films, is said to have already finished her portion in ‘Ek Deewana Tha’ that is gearing up to see a release early next year.

She is currently working on a trilingual project directed by Gautham Menon. While ‘Action Replayy’ fame Aditya Roy Kapoor has been roped in for the Hindi version, Jiiva for Tamil and Nani for Telugu…
