Even though 'Shakal Pe Mat Ja' is enjoying a sole release this weekend, it is mainly because no other notable film wanted to be sandwiched between 'Rockstar' and 'Desi Boyz'. A small film with mainly newcomers, this comedy is seemingly a mix of 'Tere Bin Laden' and 'Delhi Belly'. With a fair deal of promotion behind it, the film has ar least tried to make it's mark at the box office. However chances of that really happening are quite minimal since the buzz is absent and hype is clearly missing.

In fact the first immediate challenge for the film is to find good screens and show timings for itself since EROS has pretty much enjoyed a monopoly for weeks in succession with first their 'Ra. One', then 'Rockstar' and now 'Desi Boyz' occupying the best of the lot. Resultantly, even a 25% opening for 'Shakal Pe Mat Ja' would come at a bargain.

All of this means that for 'Rockstar', it would be practically yet another open week ahead and it is all set to make the most of it. With the run of 'Ra. One' coming to a close and no other choice available for cine-goers, 'Rockstar' would be the first choice for film enthusiasts all over again.
