A month before the 4th Bengaluru International Film Festival the Bengaloreans have got another opportunity to flock to Lavanya theatre in Ulsoor to see some of the finest films at the 5th Indo German Festival for a week starting from 18th of November.

This is organized by Germany Bavarian state government, Film Ferseh Fonds Bayern and Suchitra Film Society of Bengaluru.

In the Indian picks for this year Indo German film festival – Puttakkana High way starring Prakash Raj and Shruthi in the direction of B Suresha, Bettada Jeeva starring Dattanna and Suchendra Prasad in the direction of P Seshadri are selected. Both the films have won the National honors at the last film awards.

Almanya - Willkommen in Deutschland (Almanya), Buddenbrooks - Der Verfall einer Familie (Buddenbrooks - The Decline of a Family), Die Geschichte vom Brandner Kasper (The Story of Brandner Kasper), Jasmin Rock it!, Vincent will meet (Vincent wants to sea, Wader Wecker - Vater Land (Wader Wecker - Father Land) are the German language films while films from Indian sub continent are- Adaaminte Makan Abu (Abu, Adam´s Son). Balgandharva (Sound of Heaven), Bettada Jeeva, Khargosh, Kutty Srank (The Sailor of Hearts) , Memories In March, Peepli Live, Puttakana Highway, Udaan (Flight)

Children's films: I am Kalam, Stanley ka Dabba (Stanley's Tiffin Box) , Hexe Lilli und die Reise nach Mandolan (Lilli the Witch 2 – The Journey to Mandolan) , Wicki und die starken Männer (Vickie the mighty Viking)
