It's raining in the box-office, thanks to the revenues pouring in from 'Velayudham' and '7aum Arivu'. Both the films are competing with each other for honours and a final picture is yet to arrive, though there are mixed reports about who the winner is.

Since there are no new releases this week, the Diwali biggies are still ruling the roost, backed by strong promotions on all possible channels in all mediums, new media, broadcast and print.

However the rains in the city at large have affected the films to a considerable extent.

While Vijay celebrated the success of 'Velayudham' (directed by 'Jayam' M Raja and produced by Aascar V Ravichandran) by throwing a party, Suriya was in Hyderabad earlier this week to attend the success meet of '7th Sense', the Telugu dubbed version of '7aum Arivu' (directed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin).

In the coming weeks, STR's 'Osthi' directed by Dharani and Dhanush's 'Mayakkan Enna' directed by Selvaraghavan are gearing up to hit the screens. So, get ready for another interesting race.
