Post 'Vamsam' and 'Udhayan', Arulnidhi is now busy shooting for 'Mounaguru. Upon finishing the project, the grandson of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi is planning to do a Telugu remake of 'Vamsam', his debut venture as an actor.
Confirming this, he says, "Yes, there are plans to go for a Telugu version of Vamsam. I will soon discuss with Pandiraj (the director) to finalise things and we will make a formal announcement. I would like to keep myself busy."
Claiming that 'Mounaguru' will be a suspense thriller, Arulnidhi, who is sharing screen space with Iniya of 'Vaagai Sooda Va' fame, says, "In this film, I am playing a common man, who is very calm and ordinary. I have done a lot of homework to fit into the role."
Ask the actor whether the change of government in the State changed things for him, he says, "Certainly not. A good film will run successfully in any regime and a bad movie won't. The present Chief Minister too is from the cinema industry and she understands the efforts behind making a film."
